About Us

Athletic Provisions

Youth sports have been shown to have many advantages. Just the psychological advantages include decreased stress, reduced anxiety, and depression rates, increased self-worth and self-assurance, enhanced ability to think clearly, More creativity, and more. Furthermore, research indicates that the life lessons kids get from athletics can benefit them long into adulthood.

With top-notch sporting goods, we hope to significantly ease children's daily lives. As a result, these students will improve as athletes and as individuals.

Keenan and Isaac Zekaria launched the non-profit organization Athletic Provisions. Helping children who don't have sufficient access to sports is the aim of this project. Athletic Provisions needs your assistance in achieving its big future goals. Our primary goal as a Santa Ynez, California-based organization is to assist not only locals, but we also to distribute our funds to cities around California and hope to expand to more states and areas as time progresses.

Our reasoning for starting this non-profit is that growing up, I have been fortunate to have the resources and opportunities to play sports. As a child, I fell in love with sports. I loved everything about it.    As much as I enjoyed playing sports, I believe that simply putting on a uniform and being part of a team gave me a sense of belonging that for many is hard to come by. I felt good about myself and ultimately playing sports and being part of a team improved my self-esteem. I've come to understand over the years that many children who are not as privileged as me have genuine potential and should given the opportunity to shine.

About Me

My name is Keenan Zekaria, I am originally from Los Angeles and I have been linked to sports throughout my whole life. I have recently moved to the Santa Ynez Valley and played for my school's varsity team as a freshman, have played on travel teams, and much more. Basketball brings me so much joy, I used my entrepreneurial attributes and my love for sports to create this non-profit for kids less fortunate than me. Along with me, my father, Isaac Zekaria, is also helping me run this project, he has also been playing basketball throughout his whole life as well.
